5 Muslim Friendly Countries You Must Add to Your Travel List

There are many Muslim friendly countries that you can book your next travel before the summer ends. Here, we give you five suggestions of where to go for your Halal Travel experience. 

Now, Ramadan and Eid are over, but summer is still here. There are so many beautiful countries you can visit, in order to create memories for life and practice the sunnah of travel. It is hard to choose where to go as every country has their own beautiful cultures and cuisines. But, relax. We took the difficult task of putting together a list of top 5 destinations you should add to your bucket list to visit soon.

1- Morocco

Everyone knows Morocco is a popular destination for those who want to taste great food, experience a unique culture, sunbathe in blue waters, and walk around the dazzling marketplaces. There are so many cities you can visit in Morocco that one trip would not be enough. Starting from its capital, Rabat, you will experience culture and hospitality everywhere you go. And of course, Marakesh is one of the most popular cities for it’s beautiful market, perfect for the shopaholic in you. There are also some smaller but gorgeous little cities that you can visit in Morocco such as Essaouira, Agadir or Chefchaouen; the blue city.  No matter where you go, it is guaranteed that you will fall in love with Morocco and its culture.

2- Kuwait

A great destination that could probably skip your mind when thinking where to go next. This small country on the Persian Gulf can brag about culture and heritage dating back from antiquity. In modern Kuwait, the top spot is the Kuwait Towers. Whatever Kuwait misses on size, she makes it up with tall towers and its people’s hospitality. There are also many ‘women-only’ spa’s for the ladies to enjoy some privacy and pampering. Don’t miss a visit to Souk Al-Mubarakiya, the marina and of course your Eid prayer in the beautiful Grand Mosque.

3- Brunei

A small nation, but with a big heart. You couldn’t go wrong if you decide to visit Brunei during summer. As a Muslim country, it has a lot of heritage; apart from the numerous mosques, such as Jame’Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, you could pay a visit to the Tasek Lama Recreational Park, some of the malls or even some of the beaches such as Muara Beach, Meragang Beach, Serasa Beach. There are plenty of things for you and your family to enjoy in Brunei.

 4- Malaysia

Malaysia has been voted as one of the most popular Muslim destinations in 2016 with travelers from all over the world visiting. As a Muslim country it provides many Muslim-friendly places. With a rich historical past, unique culture, sights and amazing landscapes it’s the place to be! The capital of the country, Kuala Lumpur, can be proud as it’s home to the tallest twin towers of the world; the Petronas Towers. While there, you can taste some of the great food, talk with the locals as they’re very friendly and visit some of the most beautiful beaches. Definitely don’t forget to explore some of the gorgeous and exotic islands that the country has, such as Langkawi and the Perhentian islands.

5- Turkey

Everybody knows Turkey and if you haven’t visited yet, then you definitely should. The perfect combination of a cosmopolitan vibe and a tradition where East meets West; quite literally. One of the most influential Muslim countries, it is fast becoming known for its Muslim friendly travel approach. There are numerous halal resorts offering privacy and luxury to Muslim families who want to escape from it all. If you are looking for some city exploration then visiting Istanbul is a must, the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque and Agya Sophia are some of the places you should not miss visiting. Did I mention the food is also delicious! If you have some more time, make sure you add some of the Muslim friendly resorts to your list such as Adenya, Alanya, and Antalya. Or don’t forget to visit the beautiful Cappadocia and ride on a hot air balloon at sunset. Now this is a trip well done!
