Ebrahim Nabavi

Ebrahim Nabavi is a prolific Iranian writer, journalist, satirist, diarist and researcher. Nabavi has published about 73 books both inside and outside Iran. He is the recipient of Viareggio Prize Award, a prestigious Italian literary award in 2010, and Prince Claus Award of the Netherlands for his satiric writings in 2005. Nabavi imprisoned in 1998 and 2000 for the stories he published in reformist newspapers in Iran. For more than 17 years, Nabavi is writing political satire every day.
